Hydration - Pre, during and Post game

We officate in a summer sport, we are no different that the baseballer on the field, we need to ensure we stay hydrated during the game.

There is a common rule of drinking a glass of water 8 times per day. Although this is a great starting point and helps you stay hydrated, it is not a steadfast rule. Everyone’s body is different, and there are other factors to consider such as environment, age, and physical activity. The average male should consume about 3 liters and the average female should consume a little over 2 liters per day.  But don’t forget to increase your water consumption when working out, spending time in the heat, or when working games.
